Elaskon WR-PGL is a paste-like rope care product enriched with solid lubricants for heavy-duty / highly stressed crane ropes. Properties: Elaskon WR-PGL is used for lubrication of all industrially manufactured wire ropes. An aromatic-free solvent is added to improve the processability of the lubricant. After evaporation of the solvent, a dry, elastic and protective lubricant film forms. Elaskon WR-PGL is of green-grey colour due to its solid lubricant constituents. By its excellent adhesion the rope is optimal protected against environmental influence. Processing: Elaskon WR-PGL is delivered almost pasty. The product is processed either manually or with suitable technology, for example rope lubricators from Masto, Viper or similar compressed air powered devices. The evaporation time of the solvent is 2-8 hours, depending on the amount applied and the climatic conditions.
