Elaskon Haftgrund is a quick-drying, transparent sealer, with very good creeping properties. A tough, well-adhering and surface-resistant protective layer is formed that prevents the ingress of water and blocks further corrosion. Elaskon Haftgrund was specially developed for used vehicles that show already corroded surfaces. Properties: Elaskon Haftgrund is perfect as a primer under Elaskon underbody protection products, as it significantly improves the adhesion on the metal surface and additionally seals and reinforces the protective layer. Elaskon Haftgrund remains a bit sticky after drying. Processing: Elaskon Haftgrund can be applied as delivered. Stir before use, shake spray cans well. Elaskon Haftgrund can be applied as a thin layer with compressed air as well as with airless systems. The film is dry to the touch after about 6-8 hours, but can only be reworked after it is completely dry. The drying speed depends on the temperature and air movement, as well as the layer thickness.
